Shoshanna Lonstein, now Shoshanna Lonstein-Gruss, is an American fashion designer and writer based in Manhattan. She is the founder and creative director at Shoshanna, her fashion label, which launched in 1998. The brand first debuted in department stores, offering a collection of whimsical and contemporary feminine pieces. In the Spring of 2001, she launched a swimwear collection, among some of the first brands to ever sell tops and bottoms separately along with lingerie-inspired sizing.
